Acquisition Profiling is our preferred and recommended way of helping acquisitive clients to find suitable targets to acquire.
There are 3 principal ways of finding acquisition targets:

1. By introduction or existing knowledge of the target
This may prove successful but is likely to present a very limited choice of targets.

2. By approaching businesses which are for sale
This is likely to result in competing with other potential purchasers and possibly having to enter into an auction to secure the acquisition.

3. Acquisition Profiling
Acquisition criteria are set and we use our research techniques and established network to identify targets which meet the specified criteria. We then approach targets, leading and managing the process on our client’s behalf, negotiating deal terms and managing the acquisition through to completion.
